Thread bare

This month's post features some work in progress by Linda Dewart which will be shown at Farfield Mill in September 2021 as part of the rescheduled Thread Running Through exhibition.  

Linda approaches any new project with a strong piece of art painted on canvas, paper or more recently her trusty i-Pad.  The image above will be one of three pieces which will be linked together by a silver thread.  The thread will extend beyond each frame connecting the space between the canvases.  At this stage, the thread is yet to be stitched.
