Textilia's 21st Anniversary Exhibition 'Time Pieces'

This new touring exhibition is a celebration of Textilia's 21st anniversary year with work on the theme of 'Time' from some of the artists in the group: Julie Bull, Julie Coghlan, Linda Dewart, Jan Dowman, Mary Francis, Margaret Laycock, Susie Martin, Catherine Slater, Janet Smithies, Rachel Terry and Jo Valentine.

Containing work from a variety of textile disciplines including hand and machine stitch, felting, applique and manipulated fabric, the exhibition will celebrate the idea of 'Time' in all its guises from the changes wrought by time on the landscape to memory and the effect of time on the mind.  

'Time Pieces' opens on 7th February 2015 at The Station Gallery, Richmond until 18th February then moves on to Farfield Mill, Sedburgh from 16th May to 5th July

  1. Wow!! I really liked this awesome exhibition arrangements. One of San Francisco event venues is also arranging one art exhibition very soon. Want to attend it as I love art. Will ask my friend to accompany for this exhibition.
