Farfield Mill, Sedbergh

Our Thread Running Through exhibition moves location to another historic building, Farfield Mill in Sedbergh.  The exhibition runs from 4th November 2020 - 3rd January 2021.  This time we have swapped the grandeur of a mill-owner's mansion for the gritty reality of life in the factory and it provides the perfect backdrop for our work.  Everyone in the Textilia group is busy preparing new material including felted jewellery, scarves and pictures for sale, perfect for Christmas gifts!  

Farfield is a great place to visit, it has a small cafe and has a permanent local history display as well as two working power looms.  Located just outside Sedbergh, there is plenty of parking at the mill or you can enjoy a gentle walk along the river from the town centre.
