Meet the Maker

The sunshine of the Easter weekend has given way to leaden skies and torrential rain but as it happens, these are perfect conditions for visiting stately homes and indoor exhibitions!

Sue, Linda and Claire spent a lovely afternoon at Gawthorpe Hall, chatting with visitors and discussing our inspirations and techniques.  This was the second Meet the Maker day of the exhibition and it proved to be very popular.  The new work is clearly linked to the artefacts in the collection, with some of the pieces featured in display cabinets.

The next sessions are scheduled for Saturday 18th May and Saturday 29th June.
