Time to grow

We all need a bit of time and space to ourselves: time to grow, time to learn, time to develop new practice.  Groups like Textilia 3 nurture their members in many ways but one of the most enjoyable is when we invite guest tutors to share their knowledge and skills, challenging us to approach our own work from a new direction.

This month we had the pleasure of Ann Barrans' company.  Her Expressive Stitch workshop yielded some lovely observational drawing which was interpreted in stitch with stunning results.  Here are a few samples of work produced by the group.
